Listings

This is the part of the site people come for: the homes. The door itself does not hold a search — it points at six different ways in, because a buyer who knows the street they want and a buyer who just wants to look need different front doors.

/listingsthe door
  1. Search it yourself
  2. Let it learn your taste
  3. Sort by best value
  4. Your saved list

  6. Start from a neighbourhood
1

Search it yourself

For someone who already knows roughly what they want. Filters, a map, and a heart button.

The grid and the map

Every home for sale, filtered by city, beds, baths and price. Heart anything you like as you go.

/listings/all

One home

Everything about one address. This is where a buyer actually makes a decision, so it carries the most.

/listing/sample
On that page you can
  • Save it to your list
  • Book a showing
  • What is it really worth
  • What would it rent for
  • How much room to negotiate
  • Make the offer
  • The area around it
No signup

Two pages do the ‘one home’ job on the live site today and neither is finished. The rebuild keeps one.

2

Let it learn your taste

For someone early in the hunt who cannot describe what they want yet. Swipe, and it works out the pattern.

Picked for you

Homes one at a time. Tell it buying or renting and start — everything else it learns from what you keep.

Everything kept here lands on the same saved list as the hearts in the grid. One list, two ways to fill it.

3

Sort by best value

For the buyer who cares about getting the most for the money rather than about a particular street.

Most home for the money

The same homes, re-ordered by price per square foot — cheapest space first.

How we score it

The honest page: what the ranking measures, and where our automatic value is known to miss.

/listings/best-value/how

This ranking can be fooled. A country-club condo looks cheap per foot because the buyer inherits a large club buy-in and yearly dues. The page says so out loud rather than letting somebody find out later.

4

Your saved list

The list a buyer builds and comes back to. This is the thing that turns a browser into a lead.

Your shortlist

Everything hearted, on any device, ready to send to us or book showings from.

Book a showing

Pick a time instead of playing phone tag. Today this is only a phone number.

/listings/book
Does not exist yet

Right now the list is saved on the device only — clear your browser or pick up your phone instead of your laptop and it is gone. A signed-out visitor also sees a blank page with no explanation. An account fixes both.

5

Three daily feeds

Nobody filters these. They are what changed on the market overnight, and they are the reason to come back tomorrow.

New on market

Everything listed in the window you pick, dated by the real MLS date — not by when we noticed it.

/listings/new

Just cut their price

Everything that has come down, measured from the highest price it ever asked — not from today.

/listings/price-drops

For rent

The rental side of the same feed. Asking rent is a starting point and we say so.

These three are the best argument for a free account: they are worth an email address, and they bring people back without us paying for the click.

6

Start from a neighbourhood

For relocators and investors, who pick a place before they pick a house.

Explore an area

Type a city and see everything we hold on it at once.

/listings/areas

The five we write about

Boca Raton, Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach and Miami each get their own page.

/areas/boca-raton
On that page you can
  • What a square foot costs here
  • What it rents for here
  • What is around it — schools, shops, water
  • What you may build here
No signup

‘What you may build here’ is the one that decides whether a tired house is a teardown or a bargain. We got that wrong once on a real appraisal, so it belongs on the area page where a buyer will see it.

Read this before you sign it off

What is wrong with this section right now.

Written down rather than discovered later.

Three labels on this section were wrong and are corrected here

The built pages say ‘Open to everyone’ on Explore an Area, How we score value, and The area around it. All three actually show a stranger a sign-in screen. I checked every tool in a real browser with no cookies. The labels above now say what really happens; the built pages still need the same correction.

The tools live on a different website for now

Everything under Listings points at neumangroupre.com or at REmined. That is fine for a preview and breaks on the day the new site replaces the old one. Bringing those pages across is part of building this section, not a job for later.

Your notes save themselvesNo notes yetType in any box — it saves a second after you stop. Asked for a passphrase once, then never again.

Write your notes above, then press the button — it takes you straight to the next section you have not been through yet.
